How to add falling snowflakes to your WordPress blog

Casually I have discovered that WordPress (I mean WordPress.com) offers you the chance of adding the snowflakes folling effect to your blog.

You don’t need to have computing knowledge, as this is a predeterminated option that also comes with a deadline time: it can snow in your blog until 4th January.

If you also want to bring some Christmas feeling to your blog, follow this tips:

Go to Settings > General:

wordpress configuración

wordpress configuración general

Go to Others and you will find a check called Holiday Snow. Check it!

wordpress configuración nieve
Be aware that if the background of your blog is white, like mine, it won’t be easily visible. But a sutile effect it’s not bad at all, as it won’t distract your readers.

Did you find this article useful? What do you think about the deadline time of this snow effect? I personally love winter, so I would prefer to have it until March!
